What are your Top Tips?

With more than a slight nod to women's weeklies (who in turn inspired some true genius in Viz several decades ago) here is a brand new page from our newsletter. We don't know how long it will last, as its future is entirely in your hands i.e. we need your top tips.

Tips can be purely practical or truly bizarre, just share them is all we ask. Take your inspiration from the following topics:

*Growing/horticulture
*Cooking
*Chemical-free cleaning
*Energy saving

Here's a couple from Brenda to set the ball rolling:
"I use tin cans to plant up miniature bulbs in the Autumn. I like to add a touch of the surreal to my garden with some-one else's junk e.g. I impressed my neighbours by using a doll's head to keep a look-out at the top of the runner bean canes and used doll's legs, planted upside down, to add 'interest'."
