Welcome

Inside this issue

Oh sorrow, back to school for the Oxford Road community and the end of summer for us all. Not to worry, we've got lots of events coming up to keep you occupied during the autumn months. Make sure you read pages 9-11 for details of seminars, a film showing in October 'The Future of Food' and info about a new exhibition opening in the café.
September is a good month for UK fruit and vegetables, see page 2 and endeavour to buy local whenever you can.
We've been getting into raw foods recently and now stock a great range of products from 'Raw Living'. Take a look on page 3 and on page 12 discover the benefits from eating these fantastic foods.
Did you know that knitting is the new black? In conjunction with some keen knitters from Manchester Central Library, we now have a knitting club. To find out more look no further than page 4.
Check out the café's new pizza menu on page 8, and their recipe for Apple Crumble on page 6.
Until the next edition, we wish all our customers a happy and healthy Autumn.

Knit your own superhero at "Complete Knitters", pg 5.
