The latest in our long line of awards is the Manchester Environmental Business Pledge gold award. The pledge was developed by Manchester City Council and asks local businesses to agree to improve their environmental performance in 3 stages. Each stage is recognised by an award, like the Olympics, bronze silver and gold. the new building we got the gold. As one of the first ten companies in Manchester to gain the gold award we not only get a certificate, but a tree to plant in the park. We were invited to the celebratory lunch in the Town Hall, but at the cost of Tim giving a presentation to the 120 guests, where, rest assured, his jokes were as bad as ever!

Recently, a lady was spotted buying two Bioforce remedies, namely 'timid' and 'overdominant', designed specifically for pets. Brenda, our inquisitive (or just nosey?) Shopfloor Manager discovered that the customer shares her home with a fairly aggressive rat and a shy chinchilla, who are obviously not best of friends. We're keeping our fingers crossed that there'll soon be a meeting of hearts and minds, instead of paws and claws!
