“I’ve
never felt so normal”
“When Patsy
came to see me she was suffering from a foggy brain, lack of concentration,
feeling generally cold and experiencing low moods.
Her hair had been falling out for over 5 years; she had actually filled
an Asda carrier bag with her fallen hair! She also had patchy eyebrows
and brittle nails and was suffering from constipation and insomnia. Her
periods were heavy and more frequent than usual. She was taking medication
for depression from her doctor.
‘Is it the side effects from the medication or is there something very
wrong with me?’ was the question that Patsy asked herself, and against
the advice of her doctor she weaned herself off the medication. She had carried
out some research on the internet in order to help herself and decided to start
taking Maca and Raw Chocolate - 1 heaped tablespoon of each a day in a smoothie
- to help balance her hormones and elevate her mood.
I suggested that she add the supplement Kelp (600mg x 3 a day) to

so normal”. After 10 weeks her hair has stopped falling out, her periods
have settled down and she can think straight again.
With a

SMOOTHIE
1 heaped tablespoon of Maca
1 heaped tablespoon of Raw Chocolate
1 heaped tablespoon of Hemp or Whey Protein
1 banana or 2 tablespoons of frozen or fresh berries
250mls of water, or rice/almond milk
Simply blend until smooth and drink immediately.
