Eighth Day Flashbacks

Below: An old ad from the late 1970s. What about the café’s part-time hours? Soon to increase when the members bought the building next door (and they needed to make more money). It’s nice to see that little has changed in the way the business is run - though we now have monthly, not weekly co-op meetings,
and we do not rotate jobs so often - it makes more sense to play to our strengths.

Right: A members’ meeting in 1983… is that a perm we can see? And bottles of wine! No such luck nowadays - we’re trying to run a business y’know!.
