Fairtrade Fortnight 2010

22^nd February to 7^th March

For this year's Fairtrade Fortnight the Fairtrade organisation is asking the nation to join them in The Big Swap. For two whole weeks they will be asking you to swap your usual stuff for Fairtrade stuff. Your usual bananas for Fairtrade bananas, your usual cotton socks for Fairtrade cotton socks, and your usual cuppa for a Fairtrade cuppa. Whenever you pop to the shops, you can use your wallet to make a stand.

As you know, The Eighth Day Shop offers hundreds of Fairtrade products for you to buy and the Café uses many Fairtrade products on a regular basis.

But we are stepping thing up for the next two weeks.

Shop: Join us every lunch time for a free Divine Fairtrade Chocolate Tasting Session!

Café: Look out for our special 3 Bean Chilli, Quinoa Salad, Tropical Flapjacks, Banana Smoothies and Chocolate Brownies.

Shop: Guess how many Fairtrade coffee beans are in the jar? ...and win a Fairtrade apron! Only 50p a go.
All proceeds to the Fairtrade Foundation
