Greener Way to Take-Away
Bring
your own re-usable containers and receive 10% discount in the café
on take-aways!
Our take-away
salad containers, straws and cups are now made from PLA (corn starch)
and are suitable for home composting. Take-away forks and spoons are made
from corn and potato starch, can be cleaned in a dishwasher and bio-degrade
within 180 days. Please note that the 10% take-away discount only applies
if you provide your own container.
Our
vegetarian and vegan recipe page has grown into a comprehensive collection
of some of the café's favourite dishes from times gone by as well as one
or two of our current ones. Many of our most popular recipes were published
in our first cookbook, which is no longer available
but we are planning a new book to celebrate our fortieth anniversary.
